Ιn 1996 Agropack S.A. was reborn more dynamic in its new manufacturing facilities - expanding over an area of 30.000 m2- established in the industrial ground of 46 Km2 in Lamia, operating with the latest, most advanced technology in manufacturing equipment certified with ISO 9001: 2000.

Agropack S.A is the only company in Greece that produces "Microwelle" that it is used for the packaging of: pizza, pastry foods and detergents. Ιt uses premium quality printing (Flexo), four-colour & five-colour something that makes extremely "tasteful" the appearance of our packaging and helps the competitiveness of very single industrial or agricultural product.

Agropack S.A. produces carton trays and cardboards of all types, sizes & design for the packaging of: Fresh Agricultural Products, and Industrial commodities (such as chemicals, medicines, food products, various beverages, juices and soft drinks, frozen products, fish & sea foods, oils and fats, footwear, electric appliances, cigarettes and tobacco products etc).

Agropack S.A. with the force of it's up - to date technology competitiveness of it's products has also successful initiated its activity in the cardboard and carton trays export market destined to the ex- USSR countries. the Balkans & the Middle - East.

It' s turnover amounts to, approximately, 24 millions euros. In 2001 Stora Enso, an integrated forest products company producing magazine papers, fine papers & packaging boards, global market leader, acquired a 17,5% shareholding in Agropack S.A. The Agricultural Bank of Greece at the same time also bought a 17,5% shareholding in the company. The remaining shareholding 65% continues to be owned by Maroulis Family.
